This afternoon, emergency services were mobilised to Our Lady of Ransom Church on Grange Road in Eastbourne following an incident where a car plowed into the church wall.
Quick-thinking witnesses attending the nearby Art and Food fair rushed to assist, offering their support and aid.
The damaged section of the church wall has been cordoned off for safety, and the car is awaiting recovery.
