13 year old boy attacked by a gang wearing balaclavas in Crowley

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old boy was assaulted on a busy road in Crawley.

The victim was walking along Pond Wood Road around 4pm on Tuesday, June 28 when a group of boys dressed in black and wearing balaclavas approached him and started punching him.

The suspects made off in the direction of Three Bridges Park and the victim returned home before later attending East Surrey Hospital for treatment. He was discharged later that night.

Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, including anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have captured any relevant CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage from the vicinity.
