This weekend an unknown person/persons left extremist Anti-Semitic leaflets around parts of Coldean. Sources tell us these vile leaflets were left on several streets
including Rushlake Rd, Twyford Rd, Ingham Drive and a resident has reported
them also along Beatty Avenue. These leaflets were left in plastic sleeves with
rice to weigh them down. One of the groups referenced on the leaflets is GoyimTv,
a Anti-Semitic web streaming site for Goyim Défense League of which the Anti-Defamation
league lists as a white supremacist group.
“GDL’s overarching goal is to cast aspersions on Jews and spread
antisemitic myths and conspiracy theories. This includes frequent references to
Jews having undue power through their “control” of major institutions such as
media networks, the economy or the government, or disparaging Jews as
degenerates who molest children and advocate for pornography, abortion and
LGBTQ+ communities. GDL maintains that the Holocaust is a Jewish lie, and
accounts of the Holocaust are merely propaganda or lies generated by Jews for
their own benefit. Similarly, the GDL says that Jews were responsible for the
9/11 terrorist attack on New York and Israel intentionally targeted a U.S.
warship during the height of the 1967 Six-Day War.” ADL
This American based group spews despicable Far-Right talking points which would not be
out of place in 1930s Germany, with their website having a section dedicated to
the “Jewish question”. This statement is most widely recognised in
the context of the establishment of Death camps in the culmination of Hitler’s
final solution. It is clear upon examination of the document that the authors
are attempting to ‘co-op’ legitimate social justice movements such as Black
Lives Matter. This is a method common within the American far-right scene as it
obfuscates the extremist ideology of the authors and is an attempt to damage
the reputation of groups they oppose. One of the documents is headed with the
‘Jude’ star of David synonymous with victims of the holocaust and is titled
“Every single Aspect Of The Ukraine Russia War Is Jewish”.

This incident comes amid record high incidents of Anti Semitism within the U.K with
the Community Security Trust, a charity monitoring anti semitism, recording
2,255 incidents last year.
We are informed this despicable incident has been reported to Sussex Police
as a hate incident.
