Unexplained death in Crawley: Man found dead on Tilgate Way, investigation underway

An investigation is underway following the discovery of a man’s body in Crawley, West Sussex, earlier today. Sussex Police found the man deceased on Tilgate Way at around 11 a.m.

Local residents reported seeing a significant police presence throughout the day, as officers descended on the area in response to the mysterious death. A police cordon was erected to maintain the integrity of the crime scene.

A spokesman for Sussex Police has commented: “Around 11am on Sunday, May 21, police were called to a report of a man found in the street in Tilgate Way, Crawley.

“On arrival, officers discovered the man was deceased. The cause of his death remains under investigation.

“We would like to thank local residents for their patience and cooperation while the investigation takes place.”
