£20,000 Reward Offered for Information on Abdul Ezedi’s Whereabouts

A reward of up to £20,000 is being offered for details that lead to the capture of Abdul Ezedi. Authorities suspect there are individuals aware of his whereabouts who have yet to step forward and have issued a caution that aiding him could result in arrest. Ezedi is sought for his involvement in a Clapham incident that severely injured a woman. The Metropolitan Police Service is spearheading a comprehensive search effort, with numerous officers collaborating to locate him.

Commander Jon Savell expressed gratitude for the public’s cooperation, emphasizing the importance of their assistance and the substantial reward available for information leading to Ezedi’s apprehension. He also issued a stern warning against anyone aiding Ezedi’s evasion.

The police have disclosed new insights into Ezedi’s recent movements, including his last confirmed appearance at Tower Hill Underground station on 31 January at 21:33hrs, after changing trains at Victoria. Ongoing CCTV analysis and various inquiries are in progress to determine his subsequent location.

Further updates include laboratory findings indicating the use of a highly concentrated corrosive substance in the attack. The police continue to investigate, comparing the substance with containers found at Ezedi’s Newcastle residence.

The search for Ezedi involves the Met’s Specialist Crime Command and a wide array of partners, including the Home Office and UK Border Force. His details have been distributed across UK police forces and ports.

Darius Nasimi from the Afghanistan & Central Asian Association has made a personal appeal to Ezedi, urging him to surrender to the police and highlighting the necessity of addressing a serious injury he has sustained.

In addition to previous evidence, officers are now sharing CCTV footage of Ezedi at a Tesco store on 31 January. The 31-year-old woman injured in the incident, acquainted with Ezedi, is in critical but stable condition, facing potentially permanent injuries.

The public is encouraged to provide any information on Ezedi by contacting 020 7175 2784 or dialing 999 for immediate sightings. For anonymity, individuals can reach out to Crimestoppers.
