Kemptown Flat Turned Crime Scene After Serious Incident

A serious incident occurred in a residential flat on the 15th floor of Wiltshire House in Kemptown on Monday evening around 7:30 PM. Medics from SECamb and the KSS Air Ambulance rushed to the scene, with the air ambulance landing nearby on the beach. Medics were transferred to the block of flats by police using blue lights.

The medics soon returned to the air ambulance, which then departed from the beach. A crime scene was set up on the 15th floor of the block of flats, and residents were being checked into the building. It is understood that no one is allowed on the 15th floor while police investigations take place.

It is unclear at the time of publication what the full extent of the incident is, but local resident told Sussex News they saw a man, believed to be of pensionable age, being arrested and taken away. As of 10 PM, a large police presence remained at the flats, and ambulances have left the scene.
