Appeal following the attempted burglary of a convenience store in Bognor Regis

Police are issuing an appeal for witnesses and footage following the attempted burglary of a convenience store in Bognor Regis.

The Tesco Express on Aldwick Road was targeted around 2.50am on Wednesday, June 29.

Three suspects, all believed to be men, attempted to gain entry to the store but were unsuccessful. They then made off from the scene in the direction of the seafront.

Extensive enquires have already taken place and three suspects have been identified from CCTV footage.

Officers investigating the incident are looking to speak to any witnesses who saw the group in the area around that time, or who may have captured their movements on CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage.

Anyone with information, or who may recognise the suspects pictured from their clothing, is asked to contact Sussex Police online or via dialling 101 quoting serial 173 of 29/06.
