Gatwick taxi protest at 2pm

Gatwick Airport taxi drivers will protest today over the despicable firing of on their colleagues for performing his duties as a Unite the union workplace representative.

Sharon Graham – General Secretary, Unite the Union said: “Unite will not tolerate attacks on our reps and the full force of the union will be directed into making Airport Cars right this wrong. This despicable behaviour is an undisguised attack on an individual because he is part of a union and will not go unanswered.”

Sussex News has been told this protest is likely to affect traffic around the airport particularly on the roads aroudn Gatwick mainly between the 2 roundabouts from South to North terminal
