Sussex Police: Roses are red, Our crest is blue, Linda and Robert, we want to find you

Roses are red, Our crest is blue, Linda and Robert, we want to find you

In a creative twist to appeals, Sussex Police have taken to the spirit of Valentine’s Day, hoping to turn heads and capture the attention of two individuals wanted for failing to appear in court. The police force humorously remarked on the tradition of making grand romantic gestures on February 14th, using it as a backdrop to reach out to their “wanted friends” who have so far been elusive in their attempts to get in touch.

The individuals in question are Linda Smith, who is also known by the moniker Linda Beany from Bognor Regis, and Robert Wicker, a man with no fixed abode but known ties to the Brighton area. Both are sought for their failure to appear at court, turning them into subjects of a police appeal that stands out for its timing and approach.

Police have asked the public to contact them immediately at 999 if they see Linda Smith or Robert Wicker, or if they have any information that could lead to their location.
