Police seek witnesses to motorcycle-van collision on A259 in Southwick

Police are making an appeal for witnesses to come forward regarding a collision involving a motorcycle and a van on the A259. The incident occurred on Friday, July 7, at approximately 10:25 PM at the junction of Albion Street and Station Road.

Following the collision, emergency services promptly arrived at the scene. The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, sustained severe injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment. To facilitate recovery operations and conduct a thorough investigation, the road remained closed until 1:00 AM.

Sussex Roads policing unit officers are particularly interested in identifying individuals who were traveling on the A259 between Hove and Shoreham at the mentioned time and might have witnessed the motorcyclist before the accident occurred.
