Road Closure and Police Operation Underway in Worthing

Sussex Police Execute Warrant in Worthing, Local Roads Closed

This afternoon, Rowlands Road in Worthing has been closed to traffic due to a significant police operation. The area has been cordoned off, and both police dogs and armed officers have been deployed, notably around Queen’s Road as well.

A Sussex Police spokesperson provided details on the situation: “Police attended an address in Rowlands Road to execute a warrant shortly before 12 PM today, Thursday, May 9. Officers are still on the scene, and the road will remain closed while we address the incident.”

Authorities have expressed their gratitude towards the local community for their cooperation and patience during this time.
